The
history
of
the
Brandon
Branch
Library
formally
begins
in
1960
when
the
Brandon
Women's
Club
opened
a
corner
of
its
club
building
to
house
the

of

Library."
In
1968
the
Brandon
Branch
Library
of
the
Tampa
Public
Library
System
opened
on
Robertson
Street.
Brandon
and
the
library
grew
phenomenally.
In
1991
the
library
opened
in
a
new
location
as
the
expanded
Brandon
Regional
Library,
a
branch
of
the
Tampa-Hillsborough
County
Public
Library
System.
The
Brandon
Regional
Library
provides
the
highest
circulation
of
any
library
in
the
library
system.
Its
collection
includes
over
144,
628
materials
including
2,
066
videos,
4,
013
audio
cassettes
and
music
CDs,
22,
517
paperbacks,
and
115,
594
books.
The
library
offers
several
display
areas
that
can
be
reserved
to
showcase
your
unique
collections.
