The
museum
opened
to
the
public
on
July
4,
1976,
as
part
of
Marion's
celebration
of
the
Bicentennial
of
the
United
States.
The
home
of
the
Granger
family
for
over
a
century,
the
house
has
been
restored
to
its
appearance
in
the
late
1870s.
